La Vecchia Casa is a truly fabulous place to stay.  I really cannot recommend it highly enough! We've stayed in the apartment twice now, and waking up to the view from the bed (which is exceptionally comfortable) is like waking up in a landscape painting each and every morning.  The whole place is scrupulously clean, too.  Barbara and Nigel are wonderfully helpful hosts, and their breakfasts are scrumptious.  The apartment is self-contained, which is great for lunch / dinner options, and the local shop is very well supplied.  The swimming pool is also fantastic, especially in hot weather, and the views to the mountains and over the countryside are spectacular.  La Vecchia  Casa is in a great location , between the Maiella mountains and the Adriatic coast, which each being a bout a half-hour drive away and well worth the trip.  (Google 2022)
