Limiti, in the comune of Palombaro, sits on the edge of the Majella National Park.

From Chieti take directions for SP221 - SS81 towards Guardiagrele, remain on the SS81 and follow signs for Casoli.  At the marker 182.V1 turn right for Piano la Roma.  

 

Follow the winding road all the way up to the top of the hill where the road bends sharply to the right (which could be confused as a T junction).  Take the first left hand turn signposted "Limiti".  Proceed down the hill and go past the Agriturismo L'Uliveto.  Follow the winding road and just before you reach the store/bar (DeVitis) take a right turn up the hill.  Take the first right turn and follow the small road up the hill, keeping to the right. The road narrows slightly and La Vecchia Casa is the last stone house at the top of the hill.
